Maybe you’ve already heard about it. You might even have seen founder Gail Lynn on the Gaia Channel or listened to her on George Noory radio. But if you’re anything like me, still you wonder what exactly “is” the Harmonic Egg.
So, a friend and I booked a few sessions online and set out to our local “Egg” to discover just what all the buzz was about, and share my experience along the way.

My First Thoughts
My experience with the Harmonic Egg was professional from the moment I arrived. Upon walking in I was greeted by a very welcoming “Egg guardian” named Michelle who after helping me fill out a few brief forms, led me down a short hallway to the Harmonic Egg. As I walked into the room for my session and caught my first glimpses I immediately noticed the Harmonic Egg was an elegant and powerful design. Colorful lights spilled out of the opening to the Egg and onto the walls of the softly lit room.

The shape of the chamber immediately invoked a sense of wonder. The Harmonic Egg utilizes a dodecagon shape on the outside, while the walls are a smooth cascade of carefully sloping panels on the inside from ceiling to floor.

The structure itself is 11’ x 11’ wide and 7’ high. Inside the chamber, a zero-gravity chair is illuminated from above by rich-colored lights. The chair sits on a hexagonal platform, which along with the outer egg shape utilizes sacred geometry in the design to promote 360 degrees of healing.

I got situated into the chair which helped me recline into the perfect position where I truly felt weightless. I reclined with my feet roughly at heart-level with a pillow behind my neck. I was even offered the option of a blanket if I so desired. The point was for me to feel as comfortable as possible, and Michelle went the extra mile to make sure that every need was taken care of. After a brief description of how the session would unfold, Michelle slid the opening to the Egg closed, left the room, and the session began.

It was a minute or two after the opening closed before the music started up. I was advised to use this time to set an intention or some goals for the session. If you are at all familiar with meditation, this will be a concept you’ll understand easily as it is quite similar. I also took a few moments during this time to look around at the inside of the structure.

The use of sacred geometry is evident everywhere you turn. Each tone-wood panel lining the interior of the structure has been crafted into place at the proper angle to promote resonance. Above my head, a (Green for me) light shone softly down the interior walls. At each end of the egg at approximately ear height was a speaker on the wall of the egg itself. Slowly, the music began to fade in, and the session was underway.

Where it all began

At 37 years old Gail Lynn, the inventor and creator of the Harmonic Egg, was diagnosed with severe cardiovascular stress. Her depleted physical, emotional, and psychological reserves stemmed from the pressure of a competitive career paired with the compounding stress of more than one broken relationship.
Searching for a natural and holistic therapy that offered help, she stumbled across light and sound therapy and booked a session. After a while, the healing that she experienced from light and sound therapy seemed miraculous to her. She knew she needed to know more, and continued to experience therapy as a client.
Gail’s wide-ranging background as a creative and business owner (as well as her work in the field of engineering) gave a unique insight into her experiences with holistic therapy. She began to develop a vision for how her experiences could be improved upon and was excited to put her talents to work, bringing her vision to life.

In 2010 Gail opened her first light and sound therapy center in Denver, Colorado, using the sound and light technology she had first experienced as a client. Over the next few years, she studied bio-resonant frequencies, Nikola Tesla’s theories of 3,6, and 9, sacred geometry, heliotherapy, chromotherapy, and much more.

After 6 years of research and experience, she decided to create a chamber with the perfect combination of ratios, materials, and shapes to enhance bio-resonance for sound and light therapy. Gail collaborated with a team of sound and light engineers, as well as enlisting the expertise of professional musicians, to create a holistic therapy experience that would utilize the acoustics of the egg shape to help the body heal. In 2020, 4 years after submitting the application, Gail was approved for a patent for her invention, and the Harmonic Egg was born.

Meanwhile, back in the Harmonic Egg…
One of the first things that really stood out during my session was just how wonderful the sound quality was. The music was stunning, starting off softly and swelling to fill the chamber. It was as if I was immersed in the center of the music.

High notes of bells, flutes, and birdsong sounded as if they were appearing overhead while rumbling lows gently coursed through my chest and body. You could really feel the purpose with which the music has been composed and produced to maximize resonance within the chamber.

The musical score, created specifically for the Harmonic Egg, utilizes components of a piano, drums, flute, bells, harp, and violin, as well as the sounds of Nature. All of the sounds within the musical arrangement were handpicked to promote balance and building for both the nervous and immune systems, Chakras, and even your very DNA (among too many other potential benefits to count).

I closed my eyes gently and relaxed back into the chair, breathing deeply and allowing the lights and sound to take over. It is hard to describe the feeling in the chair (which is extremely comfortable by the way). I felt safe, warm, and comfortable. As if I was slowly letting my thoughts unwind as peace began filling in.

So who is the Harmonic Egg beneficial for?
In short, most everybody! Energy therapies have been used since ancient times. These methods of treating afflictions of the body and spirit are part of long-standing traditional healing practices like acupuncture, yoga, and Qigong. Back in the Egg, my session ebbed and moved with the music. Each session and client will experience this differently, with some clients reporting their experiences with vivid color visualizations, visions, and other journeys of the mind. The nearly 40-minute session went this way as I drifted in and out of thought.

After some time I could sense the session winding down as the music began to fade and soften. As the music faded out completely I sat in silence, relaxing for a few minutes alone in the egg.

Shortly thereafter I heard the chime of a bell which was my Egg Guardian letting me know the session had concluded and she had entered the room. She slid out the opening to the Egg and greeted me with a refreshing electrolyte beverage proprietary to the Harmonic Egg. The beverage is from Superieur Electrolytes. I chose the Watermelon flavor and it was a perfect and refreshing ending to my experience. I sat there with Michelle as we slowly unwound my thoughts, coming back into the room after what had truly been an immersive experience. We made a few notes on what I had experienced to reference in future sessions.

Final Thoughts on our Harmonic Egg experience
As I walked out of the building, I finished up my electrolyte beverage and headed back to the car. I was overjoyed to hear that my friend had a similarly amazing experience with his session. Having previously experienced numerous different holistic therapies, I am personally thrilled with the potential the revolutionary Harmonic Egg brings to the world.
